Wings of Wonder – WV Birds of Prey – Cacapon Resort State Park

Three Rivers Avian Center, from Hinton WV will bring live birds of prey: two species of owls, two species of falcons, a hawk, and the bald eagle, Ambassador Regis. The birds will be displayed on the glove, one at a time, and presented as the focus for discussion concerning their ecology, biology and case history. Learn more about what TRAC does to help return threatened wild birds to their native habitats, learn about common hazards wild birds face, and why we have laws protecting raptors and all wild birds.
This free program will start at 7 p.m., outdoors at the Gazebo near the nature center. Bench seating is provided, but feel free to bring your own chair for additional comfort.
